LAI

Postby Jon Carter » Thu Nov 10, 2016 7:15 pm

This just in. Of the 10 ewes we LAI'd Oct 22 with Wiltipoll and Wiltshire Poll semen, only one bred back. Looks like we have 9 out of 10. Slightly better % wise than our previous best, 9 out of 11 with the NZ cheviot in 2014. Think Martin is getting it dialed in. We used to hope for 60%.

Did you put a ram in to see who bred back? I didnt the first time we did this in 2005 and kind of kicked myself after.
