Balance sheet

Postby Hilmar » Sun Jan 01, 2017 5:31 am

I completed the end of the year spreadsheet for our small flock. We ended up with a lamb and a half in the freezer, sold socks, felted soap, dryer balls, a couple lambs for 4-H, and some for meat. The year ended with our balance in the black by $32. If I compare that amount to spending the summer weekends golfing, it ends up being a pretty cheap pass time.

I have great respect for those of you who actually raise sheep as a source of income.

Hey, I hadn't heard of dryer balls or felted soap before. Those are both cool ideas for the farmer's market. I am going to try them both. Thanks for posting.
