I need to purchase new bucket heaters for my jugs. In the past, I have used the Allied precision 300 which looks like this:
The Allied Precision 250 model is around fifteen or twenty bucks cheaper:
The description of the 300 accounts for it falling out of the bucket or running out of water from the pail each of these has happened in the barn without problems. There is no such description for the DT250. I am a frugal sort of guy, so I'd rather not have to replace a burned-down barn, but if I don't have to spend the extra money, I'd like to see it. Do any of you have experience with the 250, or do you have other recommendations?
For discussion of tools like shearing gear, trailers, handling facilities all the way down the line to hoof shears. Sources, experiences, etc.

The heated water bucket with heaters built in work well for me. I have seen them at tractor supply also some mail order catalogs have them. Unless I have ewes locked in for multiple days mine go out to heated tank outside which I like better since i dont worry about that heater.
