Ceramic cutter

Postby Hilmar » Wed Apr 11, 2018 5:32 am

It's time for me to order new combs and cutters before spring shearing. I am considering purchasing a ceramic cutter or two. Anyone have experience with them. Are they worth the additional investment?

In my experience as a dog groomer, ceramic cutters will break when dropped and very few sharpeners will sharpen them. That renders them as expensive and disposable. I'm curious how this compares to shearing.
